We had the unexpected privilege of traveling to Seattle a week ago. Kolby went in order to assist our friend Caleb Van Winkle of Loaded Pictures with some tech stuff. Check out the website he just finished coding for them…it’s pretty rad! The kids and I took the opportunity to return to the city where Kolby and I first fell in love to visit some friends we’ve been missing terribly since we’ve moved to L.A. Our first stop was the home of the Goodman family, a family very dear to my heart. While in college, Hutch & Rachel (pictured first) were incredible friends and mentors to me. They headed up the college outreach ministry at our church, and even let me live with them for a summer! Since then, their family has ballooned to FIVE beautiful children.

Pictured below is Hannah, Jack, Chloe w/ Daddy, Juliet, and Ben. Ages 8, 6, 4, 2.5, and 1! It is a busy house, full of love and many adventures for sure.

I caught a little tear from Juliet…What an irresistible face!

Ben & Hutch playing “Can you snatch the binky from daddy?”
They also had a really awesome zip line in their yard. I didn’t give it a try, but Hannah seemed to enjoy it.
Thanks for your ridiculous hospitality Goodman Family! It was amazing to meet all your beautiful children and learn a little about how much fun a huge family can be!

Emily - these pictures are absolutely breath taking. They truly helped brought to my afresh how blessed I am to have such a family. Thanks for making us look so good! We should make a habit of flying you up at least once a year to do this again.Blessings to you sister - it was great seeing you again. Follow hard after Him,Hutch
